I've been thinking about ordering some more canning lids for this next harvest, so here is the link to my post from last year.
Bulk Canning Lids
I have not ordered yet, so I can't say for sure what the prices are this year. I can update when I do order.
Anyone else know of a good place to buy bulk lids?

Love, love, love your blog!!! Found my way here through Plain and Simple Life.
I'm in Canada and the best price I could ever find was a 12 pack of lids for $1...at the dollar store.
I'm off to read your blog from the beginning....

Search under "bulk canning lids". Seems like a good buy and is accesible to everyone online.
I paid $35.95 for a roll of lids from the Dutchman's in Cantrill Saturday. The wide mouth were a dollar more than last year too. Our other nearby Amish store wants $42 and $45 for lids this month. These lids are soooo much better than Ball lids are now. See a copy of the flier from the Dutchman's on our blog. http://iowasue.blogspot.com/2010/06/dutchmans-store-cantril.html
I saw this post from earlier. Faxed them today and got the more recent prices. The regular sleeve is now $41 and the wide mouth are $42.
It’s great to hear from you and see what you’ve sent up. This is a great blog. You deserve an award of some kind. Thanks!

Do you know how is corn oil produced ? The production of corn oil is a carefully orchestrated process that begins with the harvesting of corn kernels. These kernels are meticulously cleaned to remove any impurities, ensuring the highest quality product. After cleaning, the corn is ground into a coarse meal. Subsequently, a process called wet milling is employed to separate the various components of the corn. The oil-rich germ is then isolated from the other corn components and undergoes either expeller pressing or solvent extraction to yield corn oil. To refine the oil, it undergoes a series of processes including degumming, neutralization, bleaching, and deodorization, enhancing its quality and eliminating any residual impurities. The result is a clear, light-colored corn oil, coveted for its versatility in culinary applications and various industrial uses. This intricate production process guarantees the extraction of premium-quality corn oil, meeting the high standards expected in the market.
